Never useless, always amusing
Asg,
Good question or not I'm just happy you are back on this forum!!! Which means to me you are getting ready to buy something. Must be the repeater
Rare is all about perspective.
I would argue any Journe watch is rare. As the average person and I bet they have never heard of Journe. You are fortunate having been to multiple Journe boutiques and AD's that carry the brand. You have met FPJ many times and are friends Journe collectors all over the world. To this point I would have to say that you are actually quite rare!!!!
* I dont like the Zodiac - I dont get why all you guys love making posts about - ohhhh my beloved watch is broken again, it has to go back....and 6 months later its - yay I got it back - then two weeks later its, Ohhhhhh my poor baby has to go back because its not working.....but I love the romantic complicaiton of the Zodiac calender. Dudes - sell the watch - its a lemon and Journe should give full credit to everyone who owns one. Then, there would not be Zodiac's for sale by Grey dealers all the time .
The only complication that FPJ has not been able to make work. Triple RARE !!!!
* Did I mention that I really dont like the Zodiac
Did I mention that in 2009 the Zodiac was in my top 2 watches that got the most wrist time. It's awesome and yes it's RARE!!!
* The Vagabondage is a really cool watch - I wonder why Journe didn't put his name on the dial. Classy.
You know the story how the first one came to be created. Notice how his name is not on the dial of Vagabondage II.
* Where is the Repeater - is it ever coming?
Yes will be released over the coming months. And I know it will be awesome on your wrist.
You da man!!!!
Best,
Brad

A bit surprised you left off the ruthenium Tokyo editions of the Resonance and the Dead Second in titanium with rose gold accents. But, when we have a question about seeing one of these rare pieces, we only need to ask you. ;-) I hope you are well. Dougla...
Titanium Editions
By: bs22fly : January 17th, 2010-14:04
Ha Ha! Initially I though I should only including regular production models that have been discontinued or are unique limited editions. However this meant I could not include the resonance or calendrier. What I also left off the list are the PG dial /PT c...
Point Well Taken
By: Douglas : January 18th, 2010-05:28
Honestly, I see fewer of the RG (actually more pink gold or 'champagne') dials than the ruthenium dials or the YG dials. Perhaps that is only my limited exposure, but your point is very well taken. Wonder if there is any way Montres Journe would release n...
Production Figures
By: bs22fly : January 18th, 2010-14:17
Over the years through various conversations, posts, and articles I've kept a mental note of production figures. In total I believe there were less then 300 remontoirs produced (not including the 99 ruthenium ones) and approximately 400 resonances in bras...
I have heard the same....
By: asg : January 18th, 2010-14:42
Maybe it was at the same meeting Remember - there are PT cases with YG, WG and PG dials. There are RG cases with ONLY WG and PG dials. So, I may see your point since YG dials came only with PT cases - But yes, I'm aware of a few instances when Journe Made...
Agreed!

I'd give one kidney, some bone marrow and half my liver for that piece. Brad and Douglas - you made me smile I find the ruthenium calendrier nicer than the YG dial. I forget the Vagabondage story. I'll try to refresh. Are there any VG2's left? I've bought...
