The misalignment is more obvious...
on Octa Automatique Reserve than on Octa RDM. I'm not sure the issue is caused by wheel sticking or lubricants though. Some illustrations below on what I observed......
Let the watch run ...
While I've seen this happen on occasion if the watch hasn't been worn for a while, and you use the quick date adjustment, the two numerals usually re-align themselves after the watch has been running for a day or two.

for the insight! The AD sales person changed the date from about 12 to 24 using quick date adjustment and almost none of them were aligned. Like you said the watch probably needs to "run in" for 2 to 3 days, and hopefully it will eventually fix the proble...
Certification
