F.P. Journe

I like this new calibre: The spectacular F.P.Journe Quantième Perpétuel and its perpetual calendar movement in which all date indications change simultaneous and instantaneously. But not with a blue dial. And you? ...  

Thanks for the pictures, looks indeed very nice. I really like the layout with the typical FPJ design elements, the raised indices (are they meanwhile stamped or pasted?) and the legible layout. What is (IMHO) even more impressive is that we have here a P... 

I also prefer sub-dial color which matches better with main dial color. Red color for all day-date-month letters/numbers ;-)

If you like perpetual calendar watches this should be on your radar. First as you say the instant change. The easy setingt tab at the lug. People debate the old versus the new dial and I believe the majority prefer the new layout. I still have a thing for...  

Platinum and white dial is perfect. One of the few FPJ I like the dial of

But having seen the white dial platinum on a bracelet posted here a few weeks back I think that would be a better, more versatile, choice. I do like this new dial, versus the prior layout which as Christian mentioned might be more Journe in terms of aesth... 

which gives more life to the watch.

...but I think the day and month windows are too low on the dial...

...but as nice as I think some FPJ watches are, typography is not a strong suit.

It’s more Journe (despite the symmetry). I own the platinum version.

Big plus for me that everything is symmetrical.
