The Black Label (platinum case and black dial): correct as Jay says, per annum it’s 12 pieces / reference max and an allocation of max two of the same reference per boutique. I’m not sure when it was introduced but my memory goes back to around 2008 or so. If you want the exact year you would need to ask a boutique. The BL is only allocated to good return clients. It’s not by application but you would probably need a good relationship with FPJ boutique.
The Boutique edition (red gold case and black dial) is a discontinued line. It was discontinued together with the amazing Nacre dials a couple of years ago. These were not as limited as the BL, as they didn’t have an official cap on the, but in practical terms they are quite rare. So without having the numbers, I can surely say both are very rare and probably not too far from each other in terms of rarity.

Technically speaking
They are no longer allocating the 12 pieces to each boutique. It’s special order only for BL and Boutique pieces.

The 12 was a total production on each reference p.a. I guess it makes sense with current demand, to only produce Black Label as a special order.
