When were they first introduced? Still in production or discontinued?

The Black Label (platinum case and black dial): correct as Jay says, per annum it’s 12 pieces / reference max and an allocation of max two of the same reference per boutique. I’m not sure when it was introduced but my memory goes back to around 2008 or so...
Technically speaking
They are no longer allocating the 12 pieces to each boutique. It’s special order only for BL and Boutique pieces.

The 12 was a total production on each reference p.a. I guess it makes sense with current demand, to only produce Black Label as a special order.
