Fully agree.

I am a big fan of platinum for watches and lucky to own some with a platinum case.

But I'm not sure if grade five titanium isn't on a par with platinum.
Of course grade five titanium has „less value“ (titanium is much more affordable), but is also difficult to machine, is more lightweight and definitely more scratch-resistant than platinum. Just my humble thoughts.

What do you think?

Kudos! Why is - regarding watches - platinum the “king of metals” for you? All the best Thomas

The cool feel and effect on the skin.

It’s a cool metal to touch, heft and the greyish colour makes it look majestic

Fully agree.
