Entirely invented and manufactured in house
F.P. Journe “Invenit et Fecit” founder, François-Paul Journe, has an over 30-year history in the watch industry and is the recipient of numerous watch awards for significant technical innovation.
He is one of the rare professionals of the Swiss watch industry to single-handedly conceive precision chronometers of an extreme complexity, invented and made by his F.P.Journe Manufacture in Geneva, and at the same time, manage their distribution around the world.
The brand wanted to offer its clients a service corresponding to its philosophy and work ethics in opening its own network of Boutiques around the world.
Five Boutiques have opened since 2003 in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Boca Raton, Geneva and Paris. The prestigious Madison Avenue in New York will soon host another Boutique introducing the prestige of authentic high horology to American collectors.
The first US flagship store will open in November 2009 at number 721 Madison Avenue, between East 63th and 64th Street. A seventh Boutique will also open in Beijing in the Yintaï Centre, also in November 2009.

Boca Raton.
There is already one in Boca Raton Florida and I am sure those guys are not to happy that so soon there is another store opening journe makes nice watches but in this economy, I mean its not like opening another nike store.

Never quite understood the rationale for opening a semi owned boutique in Boca. New York or California seemed more logical. I think the NY boutique will greatly increase Journe's exposure and widen his fan base. I'm looking forward to the opening! Glad Jo...

a huge market as it "captures" Central & South America as well as British that vacation there in the winter..... Cheers
