Emmanuel, my very first watch in around 1972 was a manual wind Czechoslovakian made PRIM.
.....About 12-13 years later it was the digital Casio, which in mid-1990s followed with quartz TAG. My first automatic was in 2000 which was a two-tone Serti Submariner. After that it was all automatics for about 20 years and the lovely manual wind watches did not enter the collection until about 5 years ago. Frankly.... originally I did not care for them I thought they were just too old-fashioned and cumbersome.... but now I absolutely love them π
If you own a few manual winds, this is one of those βIYKYKβ situations π
Callus on the thumbβ¦...means the pieces are not just sitting in a safe. Doctor says itβs a callus. I say itβs a limited-edition complication π ...

My annual calendar takes until forever. With manual winds I am definitely paying more attending to the crown shapes!
I own a CS...
and also a Patek with that same movement. I was quite sure it wasn't either one of those!
The RN is the main culprit - certainly over 50% worth π
