I will be sad if Journe stops making these...

But for the lucky ones who have one, what a legend in the coming years....

:( [nt]

But why😭😭?

Just increase the asking price, but don’t stop production.

My feeling is that a man like FP would be far more sensitive to a single watch defining his brand / legacy than TS would be at Patek (re Nautilus).

A time for change therefore maybe near but who knows. I’m just excited to see what might replace the CB if that was ever to happen.

You make a very valid argument [nt]

No message body

Impossible for us to know.

I just hope we don’t see a Chrono Rouge or Chrono Vert. That would be a lazy outcome (and Journe, with some exceptions, tends not to take the lazy option so I’m hopeful).

I personally wouldn't mind it... the CB is so special, I'd be happy to add a CR or CV to my collection...

 By: IndieFan : February 22nd, 2020-16:31
why not discontinue the CB and then run a CR or CV or some other color for 10 years etc? I wouldn't view it as a lazy approach, just something different that keeps the tantalum in the catologue, and that entry mechanical piece...

Generally speaking the idea of a new dial colour (and just that) it tired, worn out and lazy.

 By: Jay (Eire) : February 24th, 2020-10:10
That’s just my opinion. I’m all for keeping the tantalum, I love that case and that material for cases in general. But I’d hope that FP, if this was ever something he might do, would do more than simply change the colour.

Good point

and he might not make a direct replacement at all now that the Elegante is in place as a starter watch for his brand.

Cheers! [nt]

Talk to me about the strap. FPJ or aftermarket?

Or did something precipitate this change in handle/user name?

I embraced it.

 By: TheMadDruid : February 24th, 2020-17:18
No point resisting.

Fair enough ;) [nt]

Thank you Sir.

 By: Jay (Eire) : February 24th, 2020-16:53
I’m in full agreement. Without the flash of the dial this is a classic piece; diameter, thickness, manual wind, and the dull tantalum.
