Another thought about the SportS.

The watch is 44mm-quite large. Yet when I had it in my hand a few weeks ago I thought it was a bit smaller. It was only later that I learned its size. I believe the watch does not look that big because the yellow dial, in combination with the very dark Ti case, forces the focus on the bright dial, which is 38mm. Journe seems to be a master of optical illusion.

A couple more shots of the SportS.

I agree - it wears much smaller

I had the same experience with the Pt. Sans rubber - this could be a perfect daily watch. I believe it is due to the missing lugs so the tapering begins immediately at the edge of the case rather than at the horns.

You’re right.

That does add (subtract?) to the impression that the watch is smaller than 44mm.

I didn’t like it either from pictures online.

But seeing it at the Boutique and having it in my hand made me rethink it.

I am curious as to what makes the Linesport watches

 By: xiu laba : August 6th, 2019-02:09
more suitable for more sportive activities. I read that the Linesport collection is born as they are owners asking for a Journe that they can wear while engaging in more physical activities. Were there any changes made to the shock absorbing system? Thank...

No changes were made to the shock absorption system.

My understanding is the lightness of the case and, particularly, the lightness of the aluminum movement allow for more activity, such as golf or running.

Thanks DruidPadj! [nt]
