Agreed, I think it’s very well conceptualized and complete. It felt close to a proper production watch.
I think legibility could be improved and perhaps a better case but we are starting at a very, very high level for a watch maker who recently finished watch making school.
He normally works closely with his partner Victor Monnin (green cardigan and green watch). I understand these two are planning a professional life together.
I wish them all the luck and will keep a close eye.

The F.P. Journe press release completely didn't mention Victor Monnin nor the green watch. I see these two coordinate their sweaters with their straps. Clever. I'm looking forward to the future novelties from Hazemann & Monnin! Or maybe without the ampers...
It was their school watches (final exams) and as I understand only one submitted.

I think FP does a lot to help young talents. Not only for awards but also behind the scene. He is also one of the very few who can produce like special parts and dials for the small independent companies
