I think you should go with the Resonance. I own both pieces, and while they each have their own special qualities, if I had to keep only one, it would be the Resonance. I believe that Patek will come out with a perpetual/mono chronograph sooner or later and it will upstage the annual calendar version. The Resonance, on the other hand, is unique in what it purports to do and will never suffer from a "better version" dilemma. Just my two cents.
