When it rains it pours...

Does it ever happen to you that after waiting for what seems like an eternity on waitlists...things just pop up all in the same time period? And, sometimes you budget for these things but this must be the third time this has happened.

Well this month was definitely one of those months - after being a little impatient and craving to fulfill a watch need, I got an Urwerk. Then literally weeks later, an AP showed up. And one week later, the below shows up. Note that all three sources are completely unrelated (different retailers), so I don't think there is some insidious collusion here.

Anyway, just got the stunning 126719 Meteorite! By far, it is more impressive in person than in pictures. Spring is here so maybe this is a blossoming of watch supplies around the world

The dealer had shared they received one in the last two years so I felt really lucky to be offered this one. I am hoping with the new Daytona Meteorite the production of these dials will increase and allow more collectors to enjoy this! Cheers Peter

Yes, it happened to me and I had to make some choices, as it was financially impossible to get all of them. This Meteorite is one of my grails!

You did very well, my friend. And honestly; I would not worry if another grail comes too soon. Sometimes, you have to be happy with what you have and if it is not the good moment for an addition, amen, that's not a big issue.

My Gronefeld Remontoire arrived and at the time, Patek AD called with the arrival of 5172G. Wallet thinning, surely… perhaps a sign that supply is flowing. The Rolex GMT meteorite is a keeper… go hunt for the Daytona sibling.

Totally agree Peter. I cannot complain as I have had a crazy last couple of months and was also serendipitous as well 😉👍. Luck does go to those patient but also those who are prepared and brave to take the plunge 🙏😜
