What to do with the date
During weekdays, i usually wear an Apple watch to work. I use it for meeting reminders, texts, etc. I have a modest collection of watches that i try to wear whenever I can during the weekdays or weekends. Usually I will have to wind each time I put them on since power reserve is not long enough.
The Girard Perregaux Laureato Evo 3 is one of my faviorite, and I love wearing it. I love the big date and moon phase complications, but I don't like to set them each time I put it on. I am fine with moon phase not being correct. Really who cares. I just like the look of it. Not that I care much about the correct date (I have my cell phone and computer to tell me), but since it is so big, it stares at my face every time I look at it, and I feel that I have to set it correctly. That why I like the IWC. Long power reserve, and no date. Perfect. BTW, I do have a watch winder, but I really don't like to use it. I'd rather go through the trouble to set the correct date.

My solution to your dilemma: - 6 automatic or manual wound watches, no date - 1 quartz watch with all kinds of complications, including date Having to set the date on potentially non-quick date watches is a pain for me hence my solution

you are allowed to use your phone to set your watch, but it should never replace your watch. Beautiful EVO! I wish I had a moonphase to set and keep track of...
