What is your preference?
With the popularity of smaller watches circling back around what do you choose to wear?
We all here have a watch or two, small, medium and large sizes. I used to enjoy wearing
my larger watches ans was never bothered by them. Recently I have found myself opting
for the smaller ones. Not that my DateJust is small at 36mm but I still love to wear that one
and some of my smaller vintage pieces from the early to mid 1900's. Having a smaller watch
on my wrist does not bother me at all and I think nothing of it. I still have the Submariner and
Bell & Ross but the smaller watches have come out of hibernatikon.

My watches go from 30mm to 51mm…
But for comfort of wear the sweet spot is between 34 and 38mm for me. Up until the 1990s most watches were under 38mm and our wrists have not grown that drastically since, unlike the watches 😉 But it’s of course a personal choice 👍🏻
Also depends on wrist size.
Average American / European Footballer probably has much larger wrist than average watch buyer in China. Best i can tell, 2024 fashion for men's timepiece size is generally 36mm and above, with perhaps 44mm being on the 'larger' size for the average. Not ...

Case size and thickness seem to matter the most when comes to comfort. I do find I can't wear something like my Panerai for more than a few hours without it becoming kind of annoying. I love how small watches like a 36mm DJ or something similar just "vani...
34 JLC MUT to 44 Breitling Avenger
Only watch bigger than that is a Casio G-shock I hardly wear, 45mm. I used to have 50mm G-Shocks years ago but I feel like Terminator which I'm not. 38 is my ideal size, but 34 is very comfortable. I never saw the appeal of massive watches like big pilots...
For dress watches I prefer 34-38mm.
The thinner the watch, the smaller the diameter in my preference, to avoid a dinner plate look. For the weekend, I sometimes wear a 45mm sports watch.
I just brought out
my 34mm Date, adding a leather strap to it. I also recently ordered a Saxonia thin 37mm. I guess I must be tired of carrying all the SS sports watches weight around 😅
37-40 is my sweet spot
Other than my OG 42mm IWC pilot chrono, everything is in that range

I have watches in all sizes and shapes. It all depends on how it sits and feels on your wrist imho .
