to be at the end of the embargo (like everybody here I guess), I was wondering what new watch he was going to present for MJLC and I was going to begin dream at!!
We've read (I don't know if it is in any way true) that Master Date and Master Moon are to be discontinued. The Master Moon design is quite relevant to the JLC watches history. We have discovered last year a new breed of movements with the "autotractor".
Looking at a picture of the dial side of the Master Moon movement, I just thought that they (my dear MJLC) could adopt the same kind of day and month windows on an autotractor base, just a bit widened, add a window date between them (like with the Master Hometime, but at noon), in the style of the Patek annual calendar 5135, put back the moon at 6, and give us a new Master "Moontime", dare they use that name or any other.
That should be right a new dreamwatch, perhaps even an affordable one, perfect complement to my hopefully soon coming MUT.
I would love to see a JLC annual calendar, but probably out of my financial reach.
I am sure we will get an "aston-ishing" chronograph, but also probably out of my reach.
So please, dear Mr Lambert, "cher J?r?me mon cher homonyme", as nice as you are, make my dreams come true!
Anyway I am pretty sure I won't be deceived......
