Vehicle Spotting: RED

It's been awhile and I thought it was time for a quick report on the vehicles we've seen in the past couple of months:

Porsche 356 on the highway

Alfa at the fishmonger's shop

Hot-rodded '55 T-Bird at the golf course

It looked and sounded great. The guy said Yes, he gets a lot of flak for modifying it. But if they'd seen the rust bucket it was, they'd shut up ...

A dynamite Mercedes-Benz

at the Senior Center, of course.

This is a Tesla sports car (aka Lotus)

Late Fifities Rambler

Full wrap-around windshield, reverse-slant rear pillars and wrap-around rear glass, two-tone paint, spears on the side, flying hood ornaments - it's fully Rocket Age.

Drag racing a 1970 or so Ford Bronco.

reddish in some respects, I guess

Definitely a high-class low-rider even if it's not quite red - look at the paint and the gold plate

might as well show the rest

wowser.

I saw the red brakes and the redline, and I just had to drive it. Boys, it's a beast! This is the top dog F-Type. I have almost forgotten everything about it except the price $135,000 and the kick in the pants when pressing the throttle. I  terrorized Fashion Island in Newport Beach, and apologize if you were one of the folks blown off in our wake.

My wife took the photos and kept a tight hold on my wallet...
