UR-105 appreciation
Urwerk’s recent presentation of the impressive Tantalum Hull, which signaled their planned retirement of the UR105 series, has me appreciating my 105 version. It did take me a while to get to the point of appreciating Urwerk on the whole. And a number of other forum members with excellent Urwerks of their own certainly helped me open my mind to beauty of Urwerk’s non-traditional aesthetics. So, I do now look forward to what they have planned to replace the UR105 series.

It’s really nice to see how many other people like Urwerks too. I guess the key point is to be open to new ideas.
This is exactly it Nicolas, I think it’s unfair to try and compare Urwerk to other Indies in some ways.
Taking it for what it is, that’s the best way to look at it. Urwerk gives you some things others don’t, and it doesn’t have some things others have at similar price points.

Haha, what’s funny is you like my version and as I said before my first choice was your version.
For me, my “dark knight” is probably more practical. I needed the dark case to make the watch a little smaller visually on the wrist (which I think it does). If I had a bigger wrist I would have gone chrome.

The 103 series is just perfect
And the 103.03 was the model that made me interested in Urwerk, a long time ago. Although all their watches are pieces of Art, most newer models are unfortunately way too large for my wrist. Geo
