I must confess I am not knowledgeable as far as vintage longines and JLC watches are concerned but to find an all original 35.5mm steel Rg in that condition is a rare thing. And of course it is a special watch.
Both serif fonts in a similar style, but not the same. For the most part, these logo fonts were hand-lettered and trademarked with the differences. Hand lettering was something I had to learn in art school
