One of the 12 was presented to President Xi of China to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic Sino-French relationship. These words were indeed engraved on the dial, in the red square between 2 and 3 o'clock. Unfortunately, it cannot be read by the naked eye...

They look very similar in the hastily taken pictures, but are in fact quite different in the flesh.... The Chronometre Bleu is indeed a lovely piece and I regretted parting with it Best Sam

The titanium tourbillon is a neater piece in comparison because of the less busy-looking dial

except for the engraved boutique names at the back. I suspect there will be around 100 pieces altogether at the end of the production Come to think of it, it makes sense to collect a whole titanium set - the CS, the Tourbillon, the Resonance, the Calendri...

FPJ's calendar watch in the Boutique Anniversary collection was the Octa Perpetuelle, not the Octa Calendrier. FPJ used the occasion of a Boutique Anniversary edition to finally release a perpetual calendar version of the annual calendar (Octa Calendrier)...

I regularly part with pieces that I don not wear (i.e. fell out of love) so I only have a modest collection of 70-80 watches. I have a few friends who own hundreds, or even thousands of time pieces....

You are far too modest Sam! 70-80 watches and taking into account the type of watches you are collecting is not a modest collection at all by any standards - you can hold your own exhibition should you so desire! I have a 4 watch collection ( soon to be 3... 

That's a wonderful collection you have the CTT is the perfect addition. If you ever decide to party ways with your TT, please let me know ;-).

I was prepared to sell all my watches in exchange for the tourbillon piece when it was first launched.

Sam, congrats this timepiece speaks to me very well. Like all of his titanium and rose gold boutique pieces. Ive fallen in love with this combination ever since I've seen this model. The Calendrier perpetual with the titanium bracelet. I can happily say t...  

But I have to say that I prefer the burgundy strap combo....it goes very well with the rose gold accent and the ruthenium dial

that strap just makes that watch, the color reflects so well with that dial.
