...with a 5513 Submariner. Actually, I don't know what wristwatch Moitessier wore on his epic solo journey around the world one-and-a-half times in 1968 - 69, but my ca. '67 5513 would have been more than capable of being a trusty companion.
Fitting that this watch was last serviced by Rolex Bexley (and fitted with a Type I service maxi-dial sometime during its life) as the Sunday Times Golden Globe race originated in the UK.
