A. Lange & Söhne

The 1815 Platinum collection is complete

 

Today was a very important A. Lange & Söhne day.  The 1815 reference 206.025 arrived at Degreef in Brussels.  This was the only missing platinum in my 1815 collection of Lange watches.


Many thanks to A. Lange & Söhne and especially Mr. Jacques Thomas and Mr. Jacques Wittmann of Degreef to search and source this watch to complement my collection.

I hope to post pictures in the upcoming days of the whole 1815 Platinum collection consisting of the following models :

1815 Huber Munich Calenderweek, platinum, limited edition 50 p - Reference 245.025 - caliber L045.1. - released 2006

1815 Platinum, limited edition 500 p - Reference 233.025 - calibre L051.1. - released 2009

1815 Auf und Ab, platinum, Reference 221.025 - calibre L942.1. - released 1997

1815 Platinum, Reference 206.025 - calibre L941.1. - released 1995

1815 Automatik Sax-o-Mat, Zero-Reset 37mm, platinum, Reference 303.025 - caliber L 921.2. - released 2004

PS : The new Datograph Platinum was also available from Degreef, what a truly stunning piece indeed.  I'm sure it will not be available long......

.. but some are not my cup of tea and I can't do anything about it. Side-step and new version 1815 (40mm) did not impress me at all (as always, YMMV). But your persistence pays off and that collection is one for the book. Congrats! Ken
