Actually in the haste I did not realise it was 5970 , I thought it was 5270...
Nevertheless my preference has been the 5070 & the 5204p
I've owned two of the three (5970 & 5070)...
so the 5970, but my vintage 5020 (RG) is still my all time favorite. Kurt

IMHO 5204 is the extraordinary . Nonetheless I like 5070 cleaner dial

It took me a long while before I can answer because frankly the 3 of them are gorgeous and speak to me loudly. But if I had no choice and could pick up one only then 5970 would get my vote. It has been my grail for quite long and I almost pulled the trigg...
The Rattrapante thing would lead me towards the 5204, but I will say the 5970P. I am not fan of the big indices of the 5204P and the 2 holes at the right and left of the date and moonphase
Subdial kill the dial... The 5070P is uber cool, but here, the 5970P wins. The combination of a perpetual calendar and a chronograph is an aesthetic feast. The case too. Best, Nicolas
I would be delirious with any one of these beauties...
But if pushed it would have to be 5204P for me! Lovely to see the three greats together.
I voted with my feet, owned all three and only kept two!

Beautiful trio.
They look great together. I like all of them, it wouldn't be easy to choose, the 5204 coaxial crown, thin lugs and rounded case make it very appealing. The 5070P looks fantastic, love it. Vte
For me 5970P is 1st. 5070P is 2d and the most complicated and interesting watch, the 5204 is 3rd. The 5204 is just not as appealing aesthetically for me as the 5970 and 5070.[nt]
However, if it were a 5004 that would either be #1 or #2 for me - not sure which.

Agreed. 5004 is the splits seconds chrono to have but I do find it’s proportions odd .

Pics don't do her justice but the level of finishing and its boldness puts her 2 steps above the 2 others. The split chrono adds the 3rd step
