Some prototype BMW & Mini spotted on the freeway
Occasionally I get to see some prototype cars on the freeway in SoCal, and they're usually wrapped with these annoying patterns so you can't see the lines of the car.
In any case, here is a BMW SUV - looks like a X3 I think.
And here's a Mini Countryman I believe.
There was a BMW 5 series too but didn't get a chance to snap a picture of it.
Nothing big but might as well share the pictures here.

They usually refuel at our local petrol station...
The camouflage BMWs that is. So I see some on a weekly basis You are correct on both the X3 and the Countryman - looking forward to them entering the showroom.

I wonder if the reason for the wrap is partly to get interest from people......if they didn't have the wrap and were just a regular colour, would anybody actually notice....?? After my recent experience with BMW I am completely in love with them.....my 1 ...
X3 and Mini Countryman confirmed
X3 starts production in August for a Fall release. Camo is designed to confuse cameras as to the actual details of the vehicle. Look inside and you would see rugs/mats covering the dash and controls from prying eyes.
It's nice to be able to change the look of your car like a different strap for your timepiece.
Interesting...I have seen some unique looking examples too.
