Independents

Sizable - but lightweight.

Being made from titanium this wears comfortably despite the 42mm case size.

There’s a lot going on with this dial. The blued titanium catches the light really well. I like the 3D sunray element as well - a nice contrast and complement to the constellation part of the center disc.

There’s also a lot of physical depth to the dial, with the sunken orb which travels the circular channel once every 24 hours and flips between gold and blue at 6:00pm and back again at 6:00am.

The orb also reads the second time zone of the GMT - adjusted by the crown.

In addition, the hands are meticulously crafted and follow the contour of the dial.

As has been mentioned, a power reserve indicator on the back would be nice as it has a 5 day power reserve, but the omission is not a big deal.

I also love the fact that there is no visible branding on this watch - only on the reference on the case-back and name on the underside of the buckle.
