She is waiting for me...

My AD sent me this picture today.

The Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Perpetuel 8 Jours in 42 mm. In rose gold with a wonderful white Grand Feu enamel dial.

I have already tried the reference 6656, the new 40mm version, also in rose gold with a very nice cream dial and the base calibre 1151.

Then I saw a post of Henrik where he presented some Blancpains with enamel dial. Among them also a very sublime perpetual calendar. Unbelievable gorgeous on the pics.

I carelessly mentioned this to my AD and - of course 🙄 - he reacted immediately.

So she has been reserved for me. Just to show her to me. Just to be able to have a closer look.

Completely non-binding. Completely without obligation.

I am invited tomorrow to visit my AD.

I haven’t planned to buy another watch this year. I just bought a Moser for my wife. I am finished with watches this year!!

So I am frightened to loose control. 😳

Is there anything you can state against this watch? Is there any bad thing to associate with this PC?

I need some good arguments not to pull the trigger tomorrow.

Please help me to get out! My desire grows...

You just have to check that 42 mm is not too big for this dressy watch. A very nice one, though. Henrik posted an enameled one which is even more sumptuous, in my opinion. [nt]

... brace yourself for a real treat 😈 The 42mm wears nicely on my 17cm wrist (I have the 6639 Quantieme Complet), the Quantieme Perpetuel should be easy to wear as well. Personally I consider the base calibre a clear advantage compared to the 1151 based 4...
