The 42mm wears nicely on my 17cm wrist (I have the 6639 Quantieme Complet), the Quantieme Perpetuel should be easy to wear as well.

Personally I consider the base calibre a clear advantage compared to the 1151 based 40mm Villeret Quantieme Perpetuel. The base is the 1315 with a titanium balance, giving it 8 days of power reserve, which is very comfortable when you rotate your watches.

The under-lug correctors are another benefit, very easy to operate. Those correctors are blocked for operation during the time the calendar changes, so you cannot damage the mechanism.

To me, the watch you will see is one of the absolute highlights in the Blancpain lineup. I can’t wait to read about your impressions πŸ˜‰

My AD sent me this picture today. The Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Perpetuel 8 Jours in 42 mm. In rose gold with a wonderful white Grand Feu enamel dial. I have already tried the reference 6656, the new 40mm version, also in rose gold with a very nice cre...  

I think the 42mm version is too big.

I just found a very nice Villeret Sepantieme with enamel dial in RG and a large post of the Villeret Quantieme Complet 8 Jours in platinum with a stunning black enamel dial. Both are beautiful watches but have not the feature of a perpetual calendar. The ...
