Seiko Pogue JDM
Dear all,
I am extremely proud to present my latest addition: a Seiko Pogue JDM (Japanese Domestic Market), reference 6139-6000.
The Pogue was produced between 1969 and 1978, and the particularity of this JDM version is that it was produced in 1969, for the Japanese market only. As for the other JDM pieces, their uniqueness lies in the inscriptions on their dials, different to the ones sold to the RoW, and in that the case has a notch above the crown.
This is my third Pogue and I believe that they are truly special pieces with the potential to attain a legendary status (bar their high production number), especially for the rare JDM pieces. They has a human (space watch), technical (intricate crown functions) and design (characteristics of a diver, pilot and dress watch) stories that make it a pride to wear.

I'm not familiar with them but I like the look of them very much. I keep meaning to have a good look at vintage Seikos and maybe start my own little collection. Regards Kev.
