Reveling in the Details
Or, why I love Breguet dials. Of course, there's all that hand guilloché work, the lovely blued steel hands, the face on the sun, and the etched "secret" signature.
But beyond that, note how crisp the printing is. It's not
often I see printed details this small that hold up under this degree of
magnification.
I can get lost in these dials.
This is the previous
generation Classique Perpetual Calendar #5327, and if you think the dial
is something to look at, you need to get a load of the movement
decoration!

And I really like pushing the concept of the elaborate dial by giving each indication its own subdial.
