Resistance is futile...
I really tried to not buy this watch over the past year. The boutique where I have bought many pieces in Asia called me when they started receiving them and I said no. Then occasionally seeing one during travels at other boutiques tempted me but again I resisted.
So yesterday while haunting Bond Street in London I stopped by the JLC boutique during a fun day of watch window shopping. It is always a treat to see the historical pieces on permanent display in the shop. After I nice conversation with one of the salesmen he indicated they still had a piece.
So fate and encouragement from my wife prevailed and I walked out with this Memovox.
So much for will power
