....it should be so simple, right? I am away for the weekend and will be doing some walking, at a nice restaurant in the evening and generally chilling out with some friends. What watch?
Well, there could be quite a lot of walking and it has been stunningly wet in the UK. Chances of being rained-on are pretty high. For me, that narrows it down to relatively modern and Rolex. Well, I could go with the "Bruiser" but on the other hand, what would be so wrong with the Rail Dial?
Uhm, having taken this shot of the dome this week, it just keeps calling me.
Try as i am, i just can't get that dome out of my head. Little bit of reflection in the bottom right, also capturing the sky/cloud right across the middle!
It is one of the most absurd things about watches to me.... this love of the curved dome. I know I am not alone in loving its allure. Chris, I know you are there!! I wonder how many others out there just get hooked by the little bit of plastic on the face?

and just for curiosity : it's a tropic 19 isn't it ?? I have allways been quite curious as tropic 17 ( 6200-6538-5510 ) perfectly fits in a 5512-3-4-7 and in theory also the reverse fixing ( tropic 19 in a big crown ) should have to be possible ....
Have you or anyone here tried to put it on a leather nato strap ? I've been thinking about it but not sure how it might look. Could someone share some pictures please. Thanks !
