watch is not new anymore and one of the early (steel with black dial) versions
looked like this:

The cool thing with Paul is that if you are interested in
more features, even after purchasing the watch, he is always open to such
projects
One nice feature is an alternating second, which he was presenting at Basel 2011. Maybe some of you already have seen the additional pusher shown in some of the above pictures. Yes, that one was a version with alternating second. To me it is not only a nice feature; it is something special from Paul and not visible for the crowd. In general Paul´s watches are understated, like he is as a person. Most of the people don´t get the watch and don´t know the (intrinsic) value – just perfect for my taste.

By the way, what do you think about the hands? They are in-house and show lots of Paul Gerber DNA, at least to me.


Closure:
The Modell 41 (in each variant) is an interesting and understated watch, which offers quite a lot for the money asked.
Once more an independent offers a very strong competitor to the big brands.
