Panerai contributed to make Tantalum famous. It was in 2004, if my memory serves me well.
44 mm time only ( 172 ) and Chronograph ( 192 ).
The grey blue hue of this metal is just fascinating. Since then, I always wanted to see more tantalum watches, but it seems that brands are reluctant.

They are cool. I’ve only seen one of each in the flesh. They are dense.
Both rarely come for sale. Surely the people that have them would find it hard to let them go. Back in the day, people went ga-ga over the blue hands. I’ve always wondered what the chrono was and how it was finished.
