Omega Speedmaster Pro water resistance/cleaning question.
I usually clean my Omega Speedmaster Pro with a toothbrush and soap then rinse it under luke warm water. If the gaskets were weak and water/moisture got in would it always produce visible condensation under the crystal? Or could water/moisture get in and not show any visible signs, thus the owner not knowing until costly damaged occurred of years of use. My Speedy Pro is a cal 861 around 1990, 1991. A watchmaker looked at it and said the movement was pristine and the gaskets looked good. I am not sure what the water resistance for that year of Speedmaster Pro is, if it is 30m or 50m. Any insight would be great.
