Off to Bali on vacation this week!
Really looking forward to this vacation after months of crazy work schedules!
But will miss my watches in the bank vault! I just spent 2 weeks on a work trip in New York and now have to be away from my watches again!
The one i will miss especially is of course.... My Montblanc Villeret grand feu enamel chronograph. Just wore it once last week when I was back from NY and now have to put it back in the vault 
Can't bring this beauty to the beach and rough it out. Switching to my beater watch, the PuristSPro All Black Rescue watch. Just switched the strap from red to black to get an All Black "darth" look
Now if there's a beater Montblanc watch... Dean asked us the same question before and our conclusion was the best one available is the Star Sports series. Robust and strong but a tad big at 44mm for some of us with small wrist.

Let's see if Montblanc can increase the water resistance of the Timewalker series from 30m to 100m and that too can be a robust yet elegant "beater" watch then

The ABR is a nice one for the relaxing times. My trusty beater for the beach and outdoors on the 4x4 trails is my trusty Breitling Colt. It takes a beating without a fuss...sometimes I wish all watches are that tough so we can take anyone of them on these...

Agree I wish our watches have that magic button that transforms from dress to sporty lol A strap like the Montblanc extreme leather is a good start, along with a watch with robust attributes such as the JLC Geophysic (100m water resistance and anti magnet...
