KIH's report from SIHH 2015 on Parmigiani Fleurier novelties offers a detailed look at the brand's offerings, from intricate pocket watches to the innovative Bugatti series. This article captures the essence of Parmigiani's presence at the fair, highlighting key technical achievements like the transverse movement and the meticulous craftsmanship involved. Readers gain insight into the brand's unique approach to haute horlogerie and its collaborations.

The booth is located at the corner of the big corridor, as always.

Inside is relatively small, compared to other brands.  But press conference room is located outside the booth, unlike other brands, and has abandon space.

What caught attention was this beauty.

Apparently, a pocket watch minute repeater cased in the crystal glass and jewel stone.

Backside is also made beautiful.  I wish I could have handled this!

Now, the novelties.

First, Bugatti series.

Other models present were...

Toric
Kaleidoscope Minute repeater
Diameter 45mm

Sorry for the background noise, but this is worth seeing when the minute repeater is working.

Ovale Pantographe

Why "Pantographe"?

RG version

Toric Minute Repeater
- Only one hand - hand or the number from 1 to 12 show up in the dial window (MOP), moves from left to right, showing the time.  The example below is showing 8:31 or so.

Interesting shape gong.

As always, impressive work and craftsmanship.

Looking forward to handling some of them....

With many great creations! What caught my attention the most was the meteorite dial Tonda. Really a beauty and I hope to try it on too :) Thanks for the great report Ken! Cheers Robin

Ken, Thank you for the report on this quiet brand at SIHH. I was hoping to see some QF certified watches. As one of the two original founders (with Chopard) of the watchmaking principles that led to the Fondation Qualite Fleurier, I was expecting new QF watches every year. Were there any? Or did you focus on the complicated watches? Regards, MTF

Dear Ken, I don't think you missed anything. My point is that there may be no new QF watches from Parmigiani after the 10th Anniversary of QF edition in 2014. Thanks, MTF
