Emmanuel, known as quattro on WatchProSite, delves into the fascinating Laurent Ferrier Galet Classic Dual Tourbillon. His detailed post from 2017 meticulously showcases the distinct variants of this horological marvel, inviting collectors to consider the aesthetic impact of its unique dual-sided tourbillon display. This exploration remains highly relevant for understanding Laurent Ferrier's innovative approach to complications and design.

In 2017, Laurent Ferrier designed a new variant of its Classic Tourbillon allowing to see the Tourbillon on both the dial side & the see-through caseback

This model was called the "Galet Classic Dual Tourbillon" or sometimes "Tourbillon Dual".

The case measures 41 x 12.70 mm and the watch is powered by Calibre LF 619.03.

Three variants were made: does one appeal to you? Or do you prefer the solid dial version?

Best, Emmanuel

This first variant with a grey-brow dial is a bit mysterious: is it a titanium case? I couldn't tell, but the photo (the only one available) comes from both @laurent_ferrier and @a_collected_man.

But the mistake is mine: I titled "LF's Dual Tourbillons" (plural) because I had in mind the three different versions. But thanks to your comment, I changed the title for a singular "LF's Dual Tourbillon". Best, Emmanuel

Thanks for the explanation!

I personally would strongly prefer solid dials. Not because I don't like tourbillons on the front, but rather as 1) imho esthetics of most LF dials is too good to be interrupted and 2) these particular tourbillons imho are ok, but nothing special.

All the more so, since I personally prefer solid dials! Best, Emmanuel

But of the three the first works best for me and I do quite like it overall 👌🏻
