Seiko

Photo taken with great difficulty on my iPad, too excited to wait and go and grab my phone.  Plus I was busy celebrating with an Asahi and a strap change!

First thoughts, HOW GOOD IS THE RUBBER STRAP!  It's unbelievable how comfortable it is!  I don't even know why I bought a NATO for it.  I'm extremely impressed with the overall quality.

Also, has anyone on here had problems with their Seiko automatic running fast?  Mine was going VERY fast out of the box, so I googled it and apparently some 'percussive maintanence' is all that is required to rectify this problem.  Something to do with the hairspring often being caught on something (I believe it may be the screw used for regulating the watch). This often happens when the watch is unwound and in transit, apparently.  So I tapped it on the table a couple of times and it was fine!  Truly the AK-47 of watches!
