Made a trip to the bank today.....
The AP collection is starting to actually look like a collection! Also, the Roger Dubuis seems to have snuck in there 
. Lighting was awful there, best I could do!
We have:
1) AP Tourbillon Automatique RdM
2) RO 5402SA
3) AP 25720BA
4) Waterproof prototype VZSS (from the 40s-ish) - far left
5) A rare oversized 40s VZSS (37mm)

Jokes aside, when I'm in Italy I live in a reasonably good neighborhood of a reasonably safe city in the North (Genova)....but even then, you do regularly hear first-hand of thefts and robberies.
Nothing serious has happened to me personally, but I'm taking more precautions than I did, say, only five years ago, when the situation was *visibly* safer in Italy. Storing your watches at home, no matter how (relatively) secure the location, is tantamou...
That makes sense
I do the same, I'm not too worried about theft here but I don't want to risk it and deal with the hassle. I keep two at home and if I want another one, the bank is a short drive away!
