Love at first sight...

Today my wife and I went to the JLC Boutique here to pickup a watch (more about that on a future post -- no, it's not a Reverso Rouge yet) and my wife got curious about this watch.

She insisted that I tried it, even knowing my lack of love for gold watches.

Oh my! If there's a watch heaven, I'm sure that is populated by Duometre pieces.

The transparent case back shows the most elaborate movement that I saw in metal and the dial is hypnotic.

The Duometre falls way outside of my current plans but to dream is free.

If one day you have the opportunity to try one, do that and you will understand the magic that mankind can produce.

My warm thank you to the JLC boutique team and in special for the most amazing saleswoman that I know.

My only concern was will I wear a rose gold watch as I currently don\'t have any. However I love the dial and the watch speaks to me in a different sort of way. Will keep my fingers crossed and update all if and when this comes into the stable.

The dial, it comes alive with the earth on it, and is just mesmerizing. The back with the view of the movement is just as spectacular. I can fully understand the love.
