Longines Chronograph 30 CH Ref 8225-2 " Nonius ".
In the last years of the Longines 30 CH, we had some off the beaten paths versions, such as the Diver Chronograph, Ref 7981,

A big cushion case:

And the one I wanted to share with you, here, the Nonius, Ref 8225-2.
The Nonius is a special 30CH, able to measure 10th of seconds with its yellow hand bearing a 0 to 9 units scale, this single minute counter, a flyback, a water resistant screw in case back, a cushion case, and here, a superb deep brown dial.

On the inside of the case back, a lot of informations about the patent pending, and the date this watch was released, here in September 1969.

The 30 CH in all its beauty:
When you read the dimensions of this watch, you can think it is way too big ( 43 x 44 mm ), but in the real, it wears like a good 40 mm chronograph.
Not the most beautiful 30 CH, I can agree with that, but it is rather special and it doesn't lack charm!
Best,
Nicolas
