The silly, rather bad picture (sorry!) shows the result after 54 hours. It took 67 hours and 45 minutes to stop it completely!!!
I was actually quite surprised since I did not believe those 70-hour power reserve story at all! Well, they are maybe mass produced watches but, as far as I can tell, this fellow is exceeding my expectations every day, going through all my aggressive tests with flying colours.
I'll keep you updated...

Nice to know. You must do a comparison with your submariner et al. Perhaps do the timing in other positions too. Be curious to see the results.

has still a decent >48 hour power reserve, the 3999 is so thin that its tiny movement needs to be charged every 20 hours approx. This days I am playing with this russian fellow. 40 hour power reserve, more or less... ...
Always good to have a Russian watch, which are usually pretty tough and versatile.
Your vintage sub on the other hand is certainly priceless. 👍
