Lange Watches
As promised here are my two new beauties. I've made a collage of some of the pictures to save bandwidth and also touched out the serial numbers.
They are really marvellous watches so different and unique. When I saw the Lange 1 next to the MP the choice was obvious (for me). The Cabaret was also a real beauty in this combination of metal and dial but certainly more formal than the L1... a real dress watch. Although this model is not all that popular, I really like the tank and tonneau designs and this one is no exception.
Buying the two watches just confirms that old adage (I just made it up, actually): "When unable te decide between two items... take both!"
I did change the straps however. Both watches came with black straps. I felt that a deep blue would be more appropriate for the Moonphase in bringing the blue of the sub-dial. At present the strap is a Blancpain (horrors! 
)
For the Cabaret, I chose a burgundy which is far more suitable (IMHO). This one is a Hirsch-Artisinal.
I will probably replace both eventually with either Lange straps or ABP custom straps.
