Greetings to all!

I have begun to believe in the mystical power of the PuristS avatar as an attractor of desired watches.  Putting up a shot of Vianney and me was a precursor to the purchase of my Antiqua; shortly after changing again to a photo of PD and myself I had the good fortune to find a Simplicity to add to my collection; and most recently I believe that my use of Oliver's "Gary G Goes Gaga" shot from the SIHH meeting between Mr. Dufour and myself served to ensure that the Simplicity would make its way back to me rapidly and in excellent working order.

So...time for another change!  Close inspection of my current avatar will reveal that it shows me just outside of the Voutilainen atelier, giving some loving attention to the Voutilainen family cat.  My hope is that this good omen will speed the completion of my long-awaited next watch -- at the moment, the watch seems more like Schrodinger's cat than Kari's, as it both exists (as a work in progress) and does not (as a finished product).

When I post a picture of Volker, you'll know I'm getting serious about things...
