JLC SIHH 2013: Rendez Vous Celestial.

Usually, I am not very mad about watches for ladies.

There are a few which attracted my attention, such as the JLC Reverso Gran Sport Lady, the GP WW TC with its mother of pearl dial, and the Breguet Reine de Naple.

The Rendez Vous, THIS Rendez Vous, is certainly one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, for our better half.

The case, made of 18 Ct White Gold, is decorated with 155 diamonds ( for a total of 2, 09 Cts ), and is 37, 5 mm big. Which is largely enough, in my opinion.

The dial is made of lapis-lazuli, with applied numbers and diamonds.

The map of the sky adds poetry and mystery to the beauty of the watch, and is just fascinating.

The Calibre 809 is automatic, and offers a power reserve of 40 hours.

The functions are:

- Hours

- Minutes.

- Map of the Sky.

- Zodiacal Calendar.

- The Flying Star is here to mark a ... Rendez Vous. Or to give you another time, a kind of visual reminder that at a certain time, you have to do something or to see someone, one of the two crowns being dedicated to it, while the other crown will be used to set the map of the sky, as well as the hours and minutes.

While I was looking at this watch, I was thinking that it would be a GREAT idea IF JLC released, one day, a " simple " astronomical watch, for the big children we are!
