Plenty of tool watches out there to choose from but I like the look of this relatively simple one from Hamilton. I like the fact that it’s under the radar.
The Khaki Field Expedition, available on its new NATO Strap as opposed to the bracelet is an adventure watch with a compass design, enabling you to navigate with the help of the sun. Housed in a 41mm stainless steel case ( also available as a 37mm case) and paired with a green NATO textile strap, it’s equipped with a screw-down crown and a black sandblasted dial.

A true tool watch shouldn’t cost the earth but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good looking in a rugged way.
I am normally not a fan of faux-tina
but here it doesn't bother me at all I have to say. And quality-wise it is always astonishing what the entry-level brands from the Swatch Group deliver for the money.
Hamilton is like Seiko... really good value and build quality
Movements leave a lot to be desired, so maybe a solid case back would be more appropriate, but that's a minor criticism really
