I was looking for a beater - Doxa Sub 5000T Seaconqueror ...

I was looking for a watch that I can wear without any concern and this Doxa seems to fit the bill.
After a good fight to remove the metal bracelet (two screws, come on Doxa!), here I have it.
Pictures from this amazing beautiful Sunday morning.
The 45mm case is powered by the dependable ETA 2892 Chronometer version (Even the COSC certificate is included).
Nice bezel that clicks fine and is water resistant to 5000 ft (a tad more than 1500m, Helium valve present and discrete)
Very readable dial and hands, as it should be for a diver or an old man watch.
Love the 70's funky look.

I love the allure of the brand and the looks but the fact that it is an online only proposition does not get me confronted with it live often enough so it’s not yet part of my collection. Hopefully soon. Thanks for the fantastic pictures!
