I think some people get it wrong!

This morning I was reading an online article titled: THINGS MEN CAN'T DO WITHOUT
Part of this article states the below text.

I SAY: I believe that the price of watch would stop some people from buying, but that most of those that are buying it do so for all other reasons than just 'adding to their social stature.  What do you say?

Part of the Article: THINGS MEN CAN'T DO WITHOUT

Watches According to industry surveys, men constitute 70 per cent of the buyers’ demographic for high-end designer watches. Is there a connect somewhere?

“Of course,” admits New Delhi psychologist Dr Prateek Parekh, “Expensive watches are a tangible symbol of wealth which men feel adds to their social stature.” Is it any surprise that actor Leonardo Di Caprio can’t do without his Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Minute Repeater, priced at a mere $175,000! Russian PM Vladimir Putin owns a $60,000 Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar. Roman Abramovich, the owner of the English club Chelsea, too, has a repertoire of Rolex watches including a $29,000 Rolex Daytona and a $19,000 gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner.

In this writer's article, I agree that my watch is on top smile
