I agree - cost and joy have no correlation for me too for watches and a bunch of other things in life!
what gived me a pleasure in a collection is a good balance....high and watches, but also quality and not so expensive pieces....
there are days when you simply like to feel down to earth.... having said that, I like the Hamilton and i more more and more feel that I need one....y

I nearly purchased the Hamilton at the airport the other day but was a bit disappointed by the only 50m WR. With 100m it would have been a no brainer. The seiko is lovely, sarb031 & sarb033 are very well executed! Best, É.
