GP Alarm - arrival

Hi All New addition arrived today 😁. GP alarm from circa 60s / 70s - been after one for a while. Always liked the idea of the alarm being set using an alarm disc rather than another hand. Also a very different approach to JLCs alarm discs. This popped up the other week & managed to get it for a reasonable price. Arrived this morning & rather pleased with it. It's most definitely not in pristine condition, I think honest would be a good description. But given what I got it for & that it still has its original crowns I'm more than happy.

One thing that is not showing up very well in the shots is it's very gold in a very 70s kind of way! I can't imagine how this wore new , but it's definitely patina!d down over the years. Gold plated case & crowns & what could be described as a golden silver cut dial - even the alarm disc has a golden hue! The other thing that really stands out is how thin it is. The alarm is nice and loud too . All I need now is to get it on another strap - 16mm! Cheers JML
